Eel River’s famous Trailwalk takes you for a walk with Mother Nature. This walk begins in the center of the village and takes us for a 2.5 km trek in our native woodland. A common place to begin the walk is on Église Street. From here, we begin our trek following Eel River for approximately 150 meters.

Severe flooding on the Millville line |
|
The New Brunswick Trails Council would like to announce that there is severe flooding on the Millville line and this trail is also closed to users. We are urging residents to stay off this trail. |
The New Brunswick Trails Council continues to urge residents to stay off the trails where there is localized flooding. Trails experiencing flooding are dangerous for trail users and residents should not attempt to cross any flooded areas. Initial trail inspections after the storm have identified over thirty areas along the St John River line and the Penniac line where washouts have occurred.
The Saint John line has four major washouts, two in the Hartland area, one at Acker Creek and one in Limestone Siding. The trail is impassable in these areas and residents should stay away. The Saint John River Trail is closed until further notice. The Penniac line has yet to be closely inspected since the water is still too high for NB Trails workers to get close to the damage.
